The project is to be brought to life with the help of the Agriculture Ministry and to address especially the internal market, but also foreign tourists visiting the Romanian seaside.
Udrea visited today the Mangalia herd of horses, together with the singer Loredana Groza. She even mounted a horse, after feeding him with sugar.
The herd consists of over 16 horses and a riding session costs between 40 and 60 lei.
Romania's tourism anthem was released yesterday night at the Mamaia seaside resort, in the presence of the tourism minister and president Traian Basescu. The song was composed by Marius Moga and interpreted by Loredana Groza, Felicia Filip, Aurelian Temisan and Smiley. Other guests were the president's daughter, Elena Basescu, the Youth and Sports Minister, Monica Iacob Ridzi, and the Chamber of Deputies President, Roberta Anastase.
Some 20,000 people are expected to spend their May 1 vacation at the seaside.
