Communist Party won the elections in the Republic of Moldova

According to exit-polls, the Communist Party won the legislative elections in the Republic of Moldova with 41,7 % of the votes.
The Liberal Democrat Party came second with 17,4% of the votes, followed by the Liberal Party with 16%, the Democrat Party with 12,5% and the Alliance "Our Moldova" with 12,5% of the votes.
The Communist Party would have 45 mandates in the future Parliament, while the Liberal Democrat Party would have 19, the Liberal Party 16, the Democrat Party 13 and the Alliance "Our Moldova" eight.
