Romanian tourism minister to meet next week top tourism operators from Israel

Ever since taking over the tourism seat in the Cabinet, at the end of last year, the minister has uttered intent to revamp and spruce up tourism in Romania.

Udrea and foreign affairs minister Cristian Diaconescu will accompany president Traian Basescu during an official visit to Israel from May 31 to June 2.

The tourism minister will take part at the president’s meeting with his counterpart and other officials and also see the representatives of the Romanian community and attend a ceremony celebrating 60 years of unceasing diplomatic relations between the two countries.
