The Cabinet is not mulling any reshuffle and the minister for small and medium-sized companies enjoys the others’ trust, vice premier said after rumors the respective official had received an ultimatum from premier for statements against the government.
Asked
about the news that the ruling Social Democrat Party (PSD) is preparing
the changing of foreign minister Cristian Diaconescu and education one,
Ecaterina Andronescu, vice premier Dan Nica told journalists to wait
another three years before such a move.
The
former Liberal party which ruled the previous government until November
last year reshuffled their Cabinet twice, once to oust Democrat
partners (now PD-L) and then to change some other ministers. Now the
Liberals are the opposition.
Nica
denied rumors SMEs minister Constantin Nita is in conflict with the
premier Emil Boc. The recent words of Democrat Liberal Vasile Blaga,
regional development minister, were only a test for the journalists’
sense of humor.
The
transportation minister Radu Berceanu said last night that the ruling
Liberal Democrat Party (PD-L), sharing the executive power with the
Social Democrats (PSD), will tackle inside the ruling coalition the
recent criticism uttered by some of PSD ministers against the
government’s measures.
Blaga
criticized last week the statements of PSD leader Mircea Geoana and of
some other Social Democrat ministers who attacked the Cabinet over the
poll tax and other measures.
