Queen of pop Madonna arrived in Romania to perform a two-hour concert in Bucharest's Izvor Park tonight, part of her “Sticky and Sweet” tour.

The queen of pop will perform next to five instrumentalists, two baking vocals and 15 dancers. The production team brought the necessary equipment for the show with 56 trucks.

The tour's producer, Chris Lamb, mentioned the total costs of the “Sticky and Sweet” tour stand somewhere around 30 million U.S. dollars.

Some 70,000 spectators are expected at the concert, but the authorities deem another 80,000 people will come to Izvor Park in a bid to stay as close as they can from the event.

More than 1,000 peace officers will take care of the public order at the concert, according to a release from Bucharest's Gendarmerie.

Bucharest's subway operator Metrorex announced it will expand program to 1 a.m. tonight, next to the public transportation company RATB which will prolong schedule to 2 a.m. for 20 lines.

Madonna, on her real name Madonna Louise Ciccone, made her first appearance in 1982 and sold over 200 million discs all over the world.
