Boc government is dismissed, the no-confidence vote gets 254 votes for and 176 against

Romania's government led by Emil Boc was dismissed after a no-confidence vote. 254 parliamentarians voted for it, 176 voted against, and four votes were canceled.

As many as 448 parliamentarians out of 471 were present at the debate.

After the vote, the prime-minister Emil Boc declared that the government  was dismissed for the elimination of priviledges. 

The president of the Liberal Party, Crin Antonescu said that the vote from the Parliament is a victory of the democratic principles and of his party. 

Mircea Geoană, the president of the social-democrat party, said that government Boc lost the confidence of the Parliament. Geoană said that his party wants a new government made of professionals.
