The highway will receive non-refundable funds amounting to 71 million euros, while 53 million euros will be reserved for the ring road.
Berceanu declared that the works should encounter no obstacles and that the highway should be completed within two years' time.
The two projects cost about 600 million euros. Some 338 million euros are supplied by the European Investments Bank (EIB) and the state budget provides 136 million euros.
Between 2007 and 2013 the Romanian Transportation Ministry counts on non-refundable European funds of 4.7 billion euros.
