At the beginning of the session, Premier Emil Boc said the education bill should be adopted by the Parliament before the end of June, so it can enter into force starting this year.
The Constitutional Court decided on November 2009, following a intimation of the National Liberal Party (PNL), that the education bill, for which the government assumed responsibility in September last year, goes against the Constitution.
At the end of January, Boc announced the Executive will send the Parliament the new reading of the education draft by the end of March, but the term was delayed.
