Prime-minister Emil Boc asked the parliamentary during his speech from the Parliament why are they crying over their luxury pensions and accused them of sticking to the privileges they have with tooth and nail.
"Why are you crying over your pensions, parliamentary from the Opposition? You are crying on the shoulders of common pensioners and now you hang to the luxury pensions with all strength," said Boc.
"Your attitude says everything about you and about the way you are defending your privileges with tooth and nail until the end," he continued, referring to the Opposition's intention of attacking the law foreseeing the recalculation of luxury pensions at the Constitutional Court.
The affirmations were immediately catcalled and the head of the Senate, Mircea Geoana, advised everyone to calm down.
