Firma din Cambridge, Jagex, aflată în spatele jocului online multiplayer RuneScape şi a jocului de strategie War of Legends a luat premiul pentru cel mai bun producător de jocuri din Marea Britanie.
Premiile Golden Joysticks au început în 1982, Jetpac fiind primul joc câştigător.
